The Beckhoff EL1018 brings eight digital inputs into an EtherCAT station using single-wire signal connections. It accepts 24 V DC signals, applies a 10 microsecond input filter and indicates each input state with an LED. Its eight-channel arrangement helps consolidate multiple switching signals within one terminal.
