The Beckhoff EK1110 extends an EtherCAT terminal station with an RJ45 network connection. It converts the terminal station's E-bus signal to 100BASE-TX, allowing a cable segment of up to 100 m to the next EtherCAT device. The extension draws operating power from the E-bus.
