Eight 0–10 V analog output channels are provided by the Beckhoff EL4008. The outputs use 12-bit resolution and a common ground reference, with 24 V DC supplied through the terminal's power contacts. It connects an EtherCAT control system to equipment accepting analog voltage setpoints.
