The Beckhoff EL4022 converts EtherCAT process values into two 4–20 mA analog current outputs. Each channel uses 12-bit resolution, and the terminal receives 24 V DC through its power contacts. Distributed clocks support synchronized output updates for equipment using current-loop setpoints.
